2026 MD 250 July 4th Celebration – Cumberland, Maryland 21502

Hey, Allegany County, get ready to celebrate big! America’s 250th birthday is here and we’re throwing the ultimate party on July 4th at Canal Place in downtown Cumberland at 11:30 AM. Come chug through the mountains on the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad’s Freedom Train. Then grab the kids and jump on the Ice Cream Train departing at 5, 6, and 7 PM.
